Idahosa is from Benin City, Nigeria. He began researching at the ESL as an undergraduate before earning his BSEE in 2006 from The Ohio State University. His areas of interest include optimization of antenna and RF systems, radar scattering, compact and low-profile dual-polarized antenna designs for communication systems, and UWB antenna designs using novel materials to enchance antenna characteristics. He is also interested in the analytic and numerical solutions of waves propagating in special media such as Bianisotropic and Chiral media, and in the design of measurement structures to obtain the electromagnetic properties of such materials for RF applications. His advisor is Prof. Rojas.
