Ruben hails from the great state of Texas, El Paso to be exact. He received his BSEE in 2002 and his MSEE in 2004, both from New Mexico State University. His main area of interest is computational methods, specifically FDTD and hybrid methods. His advisor is Prof. Rob Lee.
