Galen has already been working at the ESL as an undergraduate student before earning his BSEE in 2007. He is from right here in Columbus. He did a 6 month internship with Intel in MA before returning for graduate school. His main areas of interest include plasmonics, nonlinear optics, all-optical switching and optical supercomputers.
