Ron Reano is the newest faculty member at the ESL. He earned his BS in Physics from UCLA in 1991, his BSEE from the University of New Mexico in 1996, and his MS and PhD from the University of Michigan in 2000 and 2004, respectively. He is a member of IEEE and the Optical Society of America.
Dr. Reano's research interests are in coupling of RF/THz/optical electromagnetic phenomena to nanometer and femtosecond technolgy; bionanotechnology, nanoimprint lithography, and micro/nano-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS/NEMS);and nonlinear/ultrafast optics, short-pulse solid-state lasers, and polymer/semiconductor electro-optics.
