Prof. John L. Volakis and his team from the ElectroScience Laboratory, together with researchers from University of Minnesota, University of California in Los Angeles, and University of Michigan, are particating in the GameChanger program.
The goal of GameChanger is to develop new kinds of antennas for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to be used for military purposes. This is a three-year project funded by the Air Force Defense Research Sciences Program.

Connection One is a National Science Foundation Industry/University Cooperative Research Center working closely with private industry and the federal government on various projects in RF and wireless communication systems, networks, remote sensing, and homeland security.
